It is a material with excellent properties such as low coefficient of friction, high chemical resistance, temperature resistance and non-stick properties.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PTFE plastics are made from the polymerization of tetrafluoroethylene molecules. These molecules are composed of carbon and fluorine atoms, which provides high resistance to chemicals and thermal aging. PTFE plastics are insoluble and non-reactive to most chemicals, including acids, alkalis and solvents.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the most important properties of PTFE plastics is their excellent non-stick properties. This material is used in the food industry to produce non-stick pans, pots and utensils. This property also makes PTFE material suitable for the manufacture of seals and hoses that are intended to be resistant to chemicals.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another advantage of PTFE plastics is their high temperature resistance. These materials can withstand temperatures up to 260 degrees Celsius, which means they are used in a variety of industrial applications such as wire insulation, gaskets, hoses, pipes and more.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PTFE plastics are also very resistant to water and moisture, which is another advantage for use in the food industry.
