PVC is known for its high resistance to chemicals, moisture, and mechanical damage. It can be manufactured in various forms \u2013 from soft and flexible to hard and rigid \u2013 depending on the plasticisers and stabilisers used in production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The production of PVC starts with the polymerisation of vinyl chloride, followed by processing through methods such as injection moulding, extrusion, or pressing. Depending on the application, additives like plasticisers and stabilisers are introduced to tailor the material&#8217;s mechanical and chemical properties. These modifications make PVC an extremely versatile material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PVC is commonly used in construction (pipes, window frames, flooring), in the manufacture of cable insulation, packaging materials, and medical devices.
